What skincare should I be using?

What skincare should I be using?

One of the first steps in a skincare routine is to identify what type of skin you have, whether its oily, dry, or a combination.

How to identify what type of skin you have

If your skin appears shiny all over or when you touch your face it feels oily, you are likely to have oily skin.

Flaky, rough, or a tight-feeling in your skin usually signals that you have dry skin.

If you notice shine only around your T-zone (forehead, nose and chin), you probably have combination skin.

Now that you've identified what your skin type is we need to identify what your main skin concern is so you can select the right product for you skin type and concern.

How to identify your skin concern

Your skin concern may actually just be balancing out your natural skin type. Which now that you've identified it you can search for products for that skin type. We will go into that in more detail in another post. (links will be updated below as they are posted)

Otherwise the best way is to look at yourself in the mirror or perhaps in a photo and ask yourself what is it that I'd like to improve or what is concerning you. For some it will be they now notice fine lines around the eyes or forehead, for others it may be they notice uneven skin tone. And for some of you it may just be for prevention, to keep the amazing skin you have now for as long as possible.
